The Joaquín Sorolla Museum, located in Madrid, Spain, is home to the works of the famous Spanish painter, Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida. A beloved artist of his time and a master of the impressionist movement, Sorollas work is considered to be some of the most important in the history of Spanish art. The museum, which is dedicated to his life and legacy, houses more than 3,000 works of art, including paintings, sketches, and sculptures.

The museum is located in the historic district of Madrid, just steps away from the Plaza de España. The building itself is a beautiful Neo-Mudéjar style mansion, designed by Sorolla himself. The interior is decorated with his own works, as well as replicas of his murals. The museum also houses a library, with more than 3,000 volumes of Sorollas writings, books and journals.

The museum is divided into three sections: the permanent collection, the temporary exhibition space, and the historical archive. The permanent collection includes Sorollas famous paintings, drawings and sketches, as well as some of his sculptures. The temporary exhibitions feature works of art from other Spanish artists, as well as other international artists. The historical archive contains photographs, documents, and other artifacts related to Sorollas life and work.

Visitors to the museum can enjoy a variety of activities, such as guided tours and workshops. The museum also hosts a range of educational activities, such as lectures and seminars, as well as concerts and theatrical performances. There is also a café and a bookshop on site.
