Chang Dai-chien, the Renowned Chinese Painter, Leaves a Lasting Legacy

Chang-Dai-chien, also known as Zhang Daqian, was one of China's most celebrated and prolific modern painters. He was born in 1899 in Neijiang, Sichuan Province and lived until 1983, becoming a symbol of the Chinese modern art movement.
